The Kremlin on Tuesday welcomed what it called US president Donald Trump’s “good idea” for a truce between Russia and Ukraine on striking energy targets, without saying whether Moscow had agreed to such a proposal.
Trump announced a truce between the warring sides on Monday, but neither Moscow or Kyiv has confirmed it was in force.
