The city’s police department warns the public to stay away from the Minneapolis convention center

At least one person was killed and six others were injured in a shooting in downtown Minneapolis on Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

According to county spokesperson Joshua Yetman, the Hennepin county medical center received seven patients, one of them deceased. The identity of the deceased person was not released.
